SASE, Society for Advancement of Socio-Economics, will be holding its 25th annual conference at the Università degli Studi di Milano, from 27 to 29 June 2013.
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 15th January 2013. The 2013 conference theme, "States in Crisis," is an opportunity to ask and answer a broad range of questions about the contemporary state, from its reactions to economic and fiscal crises, up to the way in which its contours have been changing with respect to the modern economy as well as with regards to the construction of more market-driven societies. Within the well-established remit of SASE, participants are invited to submit theoretical and empirical contributions, at multiple levels of analysis from the local to the global, drawing from multi-disciplinary socio-economic frameworks.
